Realization of Prophetic Visions

River Of Water
But, though the eagle's wings made her flight
possible, they did not remain hers. And when Satan found her, he wasted no
time. Within less than a year after Constantine's
protective edict, a flood of lies streamed forth from devil- inspired mouths.
Heresy threatened to drown true sub- mission to God and His great law of love.
John reports: "And the serpent spewed out of its mouth behind the woman a
river of water, in order that it might cause her to be carried away by the
river."
A conglomeration of pagan and Christian practices
and doctrines was soon developed. The resulting religion was called Catholicism
(universalism). It was supported by Constantine
and his successors. This had been seen by the Prophet Daniel as a lion with the
wings of an eagle, as explained in Part I of this book.
During the dark ages which followed, God's woman
was swimming in a river of false teachings. Those persons whose minds and
hearts were truly submissive to God, responding to His love, found it hard to
distinguish between the water of pure truth and the water of Satanic origin.
But God knew their hearts and kept watch over His woman. He never let her
drown.
